AJ3 OG “Rare Air”
Flipped Logos and Factory “Mistakes” on Purpose
Jordan Brand’s 2025 “Rare Air” series turned early sampling errors into deliberate design choices, and the Air Jordan 3 OG Rare Air might be the wildest entry. Style code IB8967-004, released May 30, 2025 at $210. The left heel carries correctly oriented Nike Air branding. The right heel? Reversed. That’s the entire point. Black nubuck forms the base, with grey suede overlays replacing the traditional elephant print on the toe and heel. Military Blue accents hit the ankle collar, while Chile Red appears on the Jumpman tongue logo and Nike Air heel tabs. The midsole comes pre-yellowed for a vintage look, and even the midsole paint is split-blocked with a blue section on the lateral side.
Materials feel premium, especially the suede overlays which come in two slightly different grey shades, another intentional “flaw.” Comes with special retro packaging featuring the Jordan face box from the early 2000s. A conversation starter every time you lace up. Check the rest of the lineup on the Jordan 3 replicas page. Full store at rep sneakers.
