The Shoe That Caused Pop-Up Riots
When the Pharrell Adidas Jellyfish Olive Orange first dropped in August 2025, lines wrapped around blocks and resale doubled by sundown. It was the debut colorway of what Footwear News later named 2025’s Shoe of the Year. Built on the bones of the archival Adistar Cushion 3 runner from 2005, Pharrell blew the proportions up into something between a dad shoe and a sculpture.
White mesh and cream overlays form the base. Focus Olive and Orange tones land on the TPU exoskeleton wing wrapping the sides, with Core Black on the Three Stripes and toe. The sculpted foam midsole looks massive in photos but wears lighter than expected. The foam compresses just enough under your heel without bottoming out. “Virginia” and “Jellyfish” text on the tongue and insole. Go with your normal size despite the chunky look.
