Brown nubuck calfskin and a Birkenstock cork footbed walk into a Dior atelier. That is basically the origin story of the Dior x Birkenstock Tokio Mule Brown, the greige-toned version of the FW22 collaboration that first appeared at Paris Fashion Week under Kim Jones. The upper wraps in warm brown nubuck with an adjustable calfskin back strap and a rubber-reinforced toe. An aluminum Dior buckle pairs with a classic Birkenstock rivet on the strap. Underneath, the anatomical cork sole is lined in smooth calfskin, and the sculpted rubber outsole carries the Oblique and Bones gradient motif.
