Jordan Brand rolled out a series of collegiate Air Jordan 5 PEs in early 2021, and the Michigan Wolverines got one of the best. The Air Jordan 5 Michigan PE is built on a Maize Yellow elephant-print leather upper that covers the shoe from toe to heel. Navy suede takes over the tongue with an embroidered block “M” Michigan logo front and center. Speckled navy shark teeth line the white midsole, and Nike Air is embroidered in navy on the heel. Translucent icy outsole underneath. Only about 250 pairs were made, exclusively for team members and staff. Never hit a retail shelf.
