AJ5 Georgetown PE
40 Pairs Made for the Hoyas
In 2021, Jordan Brand rolled out a set of collegiate Air Jordan 5 PEs for March Madness. Georgetown got the rarest of the bunch, with reportedly fewer than 40 pairs made. The Air Jordan 5 Georgetown PE wears a grey elephant-print suede upper from toe to heel, a detail borrowed from the Jordan 3 playbook. Navy suede covers the tongue, which carries an embroidered Georgetown Basketball “G” logo instead of the usual Jumpman. Navy also appears on the Nike Air heel branding and the speckled shark-tooth midsole. White midsole walls and an icy outsole keep the base clean. This is a player-exclusive that never hit retail shelves.
The elephant print texture is subtle in hand but catches the eye at a distance. Navy suede on the tongue is rich and clean. Interesting side note: Georgetown was the team MJ beat in 1982 to win his first NCAA championship. Find more on the Jordan 5 reps page and the wider fake sneakers collection.
