AJ1 Low Starfish
The Backboard Breaker, Low and Loud
Back in 1985, Michael Jordan shattered a backboard during an exhibition game in Italy wearing an orange-paneled Jordan 1. That moment became the Shattered Backboard story, and in August 2021, Jordan Brand brought the colors to a low-top with the Jordan 1 Low Starfish (CZ0790-801). All-leather upper in Orange, White, and Black. Starfish orange covers the overlays, heel tab, liner, and tongue tag. White fills the base and midsole. Black hits the Swoosh, laces, and Wings logo on the heel. Orange rubber outsole underneath.
The orange is vivid without being neon. Leather is smooth and consistent across every panel. The color blocking mirrors the Bred Toe layout but with that SBB energy that always turns heads. Retailed at $130, which made it one of the more accessible OG Low drops that year. Standard fit, no sizing quirks. Sits on the Jordan 1 reps page alongside 90+ other colorways.
