AJ3 Retro Free Throw Line White Cement
February 14, 1988. Free Throw Line. Perfect 50.
Michael Jordan sprinted from halfcourt, planted his left foot on the free throw line stripe, and dunked from 15 feet out. The judges gave it a perfect 50 and the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest was over. Thirty years later, Jordan Brand commemorated that moment with the Air Jordan 3 Free Throw Line White Cement (923096-101), released Valentine’s Day 2018 at $200.
The shoe keeps the classic White Cement colorway but adds storytelling details. A translucent icy blue outsole reveals a red stripe across the left sole, marking the exact spot where MJ launched. “3:51” is printed on the inner heel tab, the shot clock reading when time stopped. “147” appears on the tongue, his winning score. Nike Air branding returns on the back. White leather, cement grey elephant print, Fire Red eyelets, all present and correct. This is the kind of pair you keep on display when you’re not wearing it.
