For Air Max Day 2019, Jordan Brand merged two of Tinker Hatfield’s greatest designs into one. The Air Jordan 3 Tinker White University Red (CJ0939-100) takes the alternate J3 sketch that originally featured a Nike Swoosh and dresses it in the OG Air Max 1 color scheme. White tumbled leather upper, University Red suede on the mudguard where elephant print usually sits, and red hits on the eyelets, tongue Jumpman, and Nike Air heel tab. Released March 30, 2019 for $225. The shoe came with four interchangeable Swoosh options in red, grey, white, and elephant print.

Red suede on the toe and heel is rich and even. The interchangeable Swoosh system actually works and swaps cleanly. Without the Swoosh attached, the shoe looks like a clean red and white J3.
