The Kobe 8 Sulfur Electric Yellow launched in December 2012 as one of the earliest Kobe 8 System colorways. A black engineered mesh upper carries a snake-inspired pattern across the surface. Vivid sulfur and electric yellow hit the Swoosh, heel branding, and lace accents, creating sharp contrast against the dark base. Strata grey fills supporting panels on the midfoot.

Full-length Lunarlon midsole provides cushioning with a glass composite foot shank for midfoot support. The web rubber outsole measures just one millimeter thick, keeping weight to a minimum while delivering traction. 3D anatomical heel counter locks the foot in place. Released at $140 in 2012.
