The Off-White Jordan 1 Chicago was Virgil Abloh’s opening statement in The Ten collection from September 2017. Off-White Jordan 1 Chicago Size 14 brings that release into extended sizing. Style code AA3834-101. Iconic red, black, and white Chicago color-blocking, but with the deconstructed Off-White treatment – exposed foam at the eyestay, deconstructed Swoosh stitched as outline, blue zip tie attached to the laces, Helvetica text on the medial side, hangtag included.
The deconstructed details are what set this apart from a normal Chicago retro. The Swoosh reads as an outlined drawing rather than a solid overlay. White midsole carries handwritten AIR text in the same Helvetica branding. Bigger-foot buyers were locked out at retail since The Ten allocation favored smaller raffle sizes.
