J Balvin’s fourth Jordan Brand collab came with personal meaning. The J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Rio (FN0344-001) is named after his son, born June 2021. Released May 22, 2024 at $250. Black leather upper with dark grey/black elephant print overlays that blend into the base. Solar Flare and Total Crimson Abyss accents hit the gradient midsole and outsole. Translucent heel tabs split between Nike Air on the left and J Balvin’s smiley face logo on the right. Co-branded details throughout. Came with bilingual Spanish/English packaging.

The black base makes this more wearable than his previous colorful collabs. Gradient sole shifts from yellow to orange to deep crimson and catches attention from every angle.
