Jeff Staple’s original Pigeon Dunk from 2005 caused lines around the block and actual police presence outside Reed Space in NYC. The Nike SB Dunk Low Black Pigeon is the 2017 follow-up that flipped the colorway to all black. Black suede upper with the pigeon embroidered on the heel in subtle tonal stitching. The original was grey. This is the stealth version.
Black suede has a medium nap and feels premium. The pigeon heel embroidery is tonal black-on-black, visible only at certain angles. Clean and understated compared to the original. Padded SB tongue.
