The Shoe That Broke the Mold

The Yeezy 450 Cloud White was the debut colorway of the 450 silhouette, dropping March 2021 under style code H68038. Co-designed by Steven Smith, the shoe is a two-piece construction: a cream Primeknit sock-like upper held in place by a one-piece EVA foam sole that rises up the sides like an exoskeleton. Seven claw-like extensions grip the upper from below. No outward branding at all. Built-in knit eyelets handle lacing without any hardware. The knit shifts from a looser weave at the forefoot to a stiffer, denser pattern at the heel and toe for structure.

EVA foam instead of Boost or adiPRENE. Firm ride, not plush. If you want marshmallow comfort, this is not your shoe. What it does offer is a silhouette unlike anything else on shelves.
