The second V2 colorway to drop, and the one that proved Kanye could sell earthy brown on a chunky sneaker. Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Geode released March 2019 in gradations of grey and brown across a mesh, leather, and nubuck upper. EG6860. Reflective elements sit on the heel, quarter panels, and laces. The V2 replaced the suede overlays of the V1 with a more aerodynamic, layered mesh construction. Full-length Boost in the midsole, herringbone rubber outsole. The earthy palette worked because the material mix gave it enough texture to avoid looking flat.
