The OG Eggplant Foamposite Pro dropped in 1999 and became one of those colorways people either lived for or refused to acknowledge. Foamposite One Eggplant returned for retros in 2009, 2017, and again in 2024 with style code FN5212-001 at $240. Black and Varsity Purple across the molded shell, with a deep purple metallic shift that catches under direct light.

The 2024 version cleaned up some inconsistencies from the 2017 retro and brought the shade closer to the 1999 original. Black mesh tongue and bootie, black carbon fiber shank underfoot, icy translucent outsole. The 1 Cent logo sits in matching metallic finish.
