In a 1997 Yu-Gi-Oh! manga arc, Joey Wheeler buys a pair of “Air Muscle” sneakers, gets scammed, and Dark Yugi wins them back in a duel. The Nike Air Max 95 QS YGO Joey brings that fictional shoe into real life. Released September 12, 2025 globally for $210, style code II7404-400. Psychic Blue dominates the upper with Mystic Navy, Stone Blue, and Volt accents. Blacked-out front Air bubble mimics the anime version exactly.
The faux scuffs on the midsole are intentional, replicating Joey’s beat-up pair from the show. Custom tongue tag, Yu-Gi-Oh! logo on the outsole, Red-Eyes Black Dragon printed sockliner with card number SDJ-001. AM95s fit large, half down works for most. Sits in the Air Max reps archive.
