The Jordan 1 Retro High Dark Mocha turned a lot of people into brown-shoe believers when it dropped in October 2020. Style code 555088-105. Sail white leather base, Dark Mocha brown suede on the overlays and Swoosh, black on the collar, tongue, laces, and Wings logo. The brown suede is the star. Soft nap, consistent color, and it shifts slightly in different lighting. The Sail base leans warm rather than pure white, which ties the earth tones together.
Pair it with black jeans for contrast or tan chinos for a tonal look. The brown and black combination works across seasons without feeling dated. Some compared it to the Travis Scott aesthetic because of the earth-tone palette, but the Dark Mocha stands on its own. Suede brushes clean easily. Half up if you’re between sizes. After half a month of wearing them everyday i have to say that the are 95% close to the original, the shape/mold of the shoe is from the GS and not the plain OG of the photo, meaning the whole upper section where the wings are is a lot more different than the OGs . If we take the GS for comparison they are 99% same except the color that i mentioned at my last review. Maybe is because i wear a smaller size? We will see in the future pairs that they dont have a GS cut. The only tiny complain is that they are not breathable and my socks are literally wet every time i wear them and i wear the thinnest breathable socks. The good thing though is that they dont smell a bit!!!. Overall 9/10 . Game changing reps.
Came after two weeks. The box came distorted but its the courier’s fault and for some reason was stuck in transit.
The pros: very good reps. value for money. The shoe is actually good. Very comfy.The suede feels okay. True to size.
The cons: It has a very strong smell of chemical. I will leave them outside at the sun to get rid of it.
The only thing that for me is too off, is the colour. They are very brown instead of that greyish brown of the original. I dont know if it was my shoe or the colour is tricky to replicate.
But other than that trully good shoe. Will buy again!
