North Carolina Colors That Reveal Chicago Underneath

The Jordan 1 High NC to Chi is a wear-away shoe. Out of the box, it wears a black and University Blue UNC color scheme. But as the blue paint on the overlays wears down over time, a layer of University Red reveals itself underneath, transitioning the shoe from UNC colors to Chicago colors. The concept references MJ’s journey from the University of North Carolina to the Chicago Bulls. Released February 2020 in women’s sizing.

The wear-away effect is gradual and uneven, which means your pair will look unique compared to anyone else’s. Some people speed up the process with acetone, but natural wear creates a better, more organic transition. White leather base stays clean throughout.
