Released July 10, 2021 at $190, the Air Jordan 3 Retro Racer Blue (CT8532-145) drew immediate comparisons to Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment x Jordan 3 sample from 2019. White tumbled leather upper with black elephant print overlays on the toe and heel, but here is the twist: the elephant print panels are 3M reflective. Hit them with a flash and they light up. Racer Blue accents land on the collar, eyelets, tongue branding, and portions of the midsole. White midsole, grey outsole, and matching blue packaging.

The reflective elephant print is the selling point and it looks great under direct light. Blue is a clean, medium tone that works with most outfits. Leather is soft with a proper crease.
