MJ’s Wizards PE Finally Hit Retail

When Michael Jordan came out of retirement to play for the Washington Wizards in 2001, he wore a custom Air Jordan 3 based on the “True Blue” colorway but with Metallic Copper accents instead of red. For over 20 years, that PE stayed exclusive. Then Jordan Brand made the Air Jordan 3 Retro Washington Wizards (CT8532-148) available to everyone on April 29, 2023 for $210.

White tumbled leather upper, True Blue on the collar, eyelets, and heel branding. Metallic Copper replaces the usual red on the Jumpman tongue logo and lower eyelets. Standard cement grey elephant print on the toe and heel. Nike Air on the heel tab gives it that OG feel. The copper is a subtle shift from True Blue but it changes the entire personality of the shoe.
