Jordan Brand’s Lifestyle (LS) series from the mid-2000s produced some of the most underrated colorways in Air Jordan history. The Air Jordan 5 Burgundy was one of them. Originally released December 2006 as style code 314259-602 in Deep Burgundy, Flint Grey, and Silver, it was only available at select urban retailers. The burgundy suede upper was unlike anything Jordan had done on a 5 before. Silver reflective tongues and grey accents kept it grounded while the matching burgundy midsole and icy outsole finished the look. Jordan Brand brought it back in August 2023 as style DZ4131-600 at $225, and it sold through quickly. Suede quality on this batch is rich and consistent across panels.
