Jordan Brand went full fall with this one. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Plaid released October 20, 2023, in grade school sizing as style code FD4814-008. The colorway is Black/Total Orange/Dark Obsidian, but that does not begin to describe it. The upper is a patchwork of different plaid patterns, mixing red and green Christmas-style plaid on the forefoot, black and white at the side panels, and creamy tan plaid on the mudguard. Black netting fills the quarter panels while a herringbone-patterned tongue replaces the traditional solid look. Total Orange hits the speckled laces, Jumpman tongue branding, and shark teeth on the black midsole. Clear outsole with a concealed Jumpman logo underneath.
