Five Titles, One Shoe
June 17, 2010. Kobe Bryant secured his fifth NBA championship after leading the Lakers to a Game 7 victory over the Boston Celtics. Nike marked the moment with the Kobe 5 Protro 5 Rings, first released that summer and brought back in Protro form in 2020 during Mamba Week. A rich Concord purple covers the Hyperfuse upper while Midwest Gold fills the Swooshes, forefoot overlays, and tongue logo. Laser-etched graphics across the upper celebrate each title with numbers, Roman numerals, and snake motifs.
“KB” and “24” appear on the toe guards. Kobe’s signature in gold sits on the purple TPU heel clip. The midsole runs a purple-to-gold gradient with Zoom Air cushioning in both forefoot and heel. Semi-translucent outsole underneath. A full championship story told through design. See more championship-inspired Kobes on the fake basketball shoes page. Shop the store at shoe reps.
