The Kobe 5 Year of the Mamba Eggplant celebrates the Chinese zodiac Year of the Snake with a deep purple colorway that Nike calls Eggplant. The upper runs a rich purple snakeskin texture over the Flywire-reinforced build. Metallic gold accents appear on the Swoosh, tongue logo, and heel signature. Chinese-inspired graphics decorate the insoles and tongue detailing.
This model carries the same Protro upgrades found across the 2024-2025 Kobe 5 lineup. A Cushlon foam midsole with Zoom Air unit in the forefoot handles responsiveness.
