Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Jordan 1 Chicago from September 2017 is the shoe that launched Nike’s “The Ten” collection and changed sneaker collaborations forever. The Chicago colorway gets the full Off-White treatment: exposed foam tongue, medial text reading “85,” deconstructed panels with raw edges, ghost stitching on the Swoosh, and the signature zip-tie tag in red. University Red, White, and Black across a leather upper that looks intentionally unfinished.
“AIR” stamped on the lateral midsole. The Swoosh is deconstructed with visible stitching lines. Every detail screams “prototype” rather than finished product, which was Virgil’s entire point. This pair defined a design language that influenced hundreds of releases that followed. Retailed at $190, now commands thousands on resale. Standard AJ1 High sizing.
