Before the Travis Scott Jordan 1 High Mocha, Travis had collabs with Nike, but this was the one that changed the game. Released May 11, 2019, at $175, it introduced the backwards Swoosh to the world and became the most talked-about Jordan 1 of the decade. Resale hit four figures the same week.
Dark Mocha suede on the overlay, Sail leather base, black leather Swoosh reversed on the lateral side, and a hidden pocket behind the ankle collar. The suede is alive: it shifts shade when you brush it in different directions, which is exactly how the retail pair behaves. The hidden stash pocket behind the collar is functional, not just decorative. The high collar needs maybe two wears to fully break in around the ankle. TTS.
