Angelo Baque’s Awake NY brought pink to the Jordan 5 in a way nobody expected. The Awake NY x Jordan 5 Arctic Pink released August 17, 2025, as DV4982-600 for $230. Only 7,000 individually numbered pairs were made, sold exclusively through Awake NY via EQL raffle. Arctic Pink nubuck covers the upper, replacing the white leather of the OG Fire Red that inspired the design. The lateral side netting is reshaped into Awake NY’s signature “A” logo. Reflective tongue carries AWAKE branding instead of Jumpman. “NY” replaces “23” on the right shoe’s heel. Black midsole, University Red sockliner, and translucent outsole keep the Fire Red DNA intact underneath the pink shell.

The “A” netting cutout is a clever redesign of a classic AJ5 element. Pink nubuck has a soft feel with good color saturation. Red peeking through the lining adds contrast. Standard Jordan 5 fit. See it alongside other collabs on the Jordan 5 reps page and at replica sneakers.
