Nike released the Black Mamba Collection in 2010, a set tied to Kobe Bryant’s mid-career peak when he was chasing his fifth ring. The Kobe 6 Fade to Black is part of that collection, with a gradient black upper that fades from a deeper jet black at the toe to a lighter charcoal at the heel.
