Part of the Tinker Hatfield “Icons” pack, the Jordan 3 Retro Chlorophyll (136064-006) borrowed the classic green colorway from the 1987 Nike Air Trainer 1, another Tinker design. Released November 10, 2018 at $190. Light Smoke Grey nubuck upper instead of the usual tumbled leather. Black elephant print on the toe and heel. Chlorophyll green accents on the eyelets, Jumpman tongue logo, and Jumpman heel tab. Sail midsole with a grey rubber outsole.

The nubuck gives the shoe a softer, more matte finish compared to standard J3s. Green pops are clean and saturated. MJ was spotted wearing the Air Trainer 1 off-court in the late ’80s, so the connection between the two silhouettes runs deeper than just sharing a designer. Standard fit.
