Nike and the Bryant family marked the date with the Kobe 6 Protro Mambacita Sweet 16, a tribute that carries weight far beyond its materials. Black snakeskin covers the upper, referencing Kobe’s Black Mamba persona. White laces, Swooshes, and tongue branding break up the darkness. A metallic gold “2” on the lateral ankle represents Gigi’s AAU jersey number.
On the heel, the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation crest sits with “Kobe” on the left shoe and “Gigi” on the right. Flip the insoles and you’ll find angel wings, a halo, and the word “Mambacita.” Cushlon foam pairs with a Zoom Air Turbo unit in the forefoot for a responsive ride. All proceeds from the original release went to the Foundation. Neoprene and mesh tongue keeps airflow constant. Standard Kobe 6 fit, go with your normal size.
