When the V2 debuted in December 2018, the Static was the colorway that introduced every new design detail. Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Static replaced V1 suede with a spongy grey mesh base and stacked white leather around 3M reflective silver overlays. EF2829. Four stripes on the side panel (later V2s switched to three). Thick white midsole with full Boost cushioning, black rubber outsole. Grey woven laces with reflective properties. The Static set the template and stayed the most sought-after V2 on resale for years.
