The Kobe 8 Protro Halo is the clean-slate edition that launched the Kobe line’s return in 2024. An all-white engineered mesh upper covers the shoe from toe to heel. White Swooshes, white tongue branding, white midsole, white outsole. The only contrast comes from subtle tonal stitching and the translucent rubber on the outsole that shows a hint of the Zoom Air unit underneath.

Nike used this colorway to signal that the Kobe line was back without relying on nostalgia from older colorways. Fresh start, clean build. The Kobe 8 Protro platform delivers lightweight performance with engineered mesh for breathability, Lunarlon cushioning paired with a Zoom Air unit, and a carbon fiber shank plate for midfoot support.
