The Foamposite One Metallic Red has dropped three times. The 2012 OG, a 2017 retro, and the 2023 reissue (style code DZ2545-600, July 6 2023, $240). All three keep the same metallic crimson Foam shell, jewel mini Swoosh, Penny 1 Cent on the tongue and heel. The 2023 version made one swap, tumbled leather replacing the nubuck eyestay and collar from earlier releases.

The difference is subtle but real when you handle the pair. Leather sits flatter and shows fewer wear marks over time than nubuck did. Red herringbone outsole with translucent rubber surround. Carbon fiber spring plate, full-length Zoom Air. The shade leans deeper than University Red and shifts toward burgundy in low light. One of the more popular red Foamposite reps in the lineup.
