Michael Jordan earned the “Black Cat” nickname for the way he attacked opponents on the court, silent and relentless. The Air Jordan 3 Black Cat turned that identity into a sneaker. Originally released June 2007 as style code 136064-002, the shoe went full stealth mode with a black nubuck upper, glossy patent leather mudguard, and dark charcoal elephant print on the toe and heel. Even the laces carried the elephant print pattern. The only break from black was white Jumpman branding on the outsole.

This pair follows the 2025 retro that brought the Black Cat back after nearly two decades. Nubuck feels dense and uniform across the upper. Patent leather strip has a clean shine with no warping.
