AJ1 Low SB UNC
Eric Koston’s $24.99 Memory
Back in 1986, a young Eric Koston saw a pair of UNC Jordan 1s on a clearance rack for $24.99. His mom wouldn’t buy them. Decades later, as one of skateboarding’s biggest names, Koston got to design his own version. The Jordan 1 Low SB UNC (CJ7891-401) released August 2019 in Dark Powder Blue and White. Full leather upper with powder blue overlays and Swoosh. Nike SB branding on the tongue instead of standard Nike Air. Koston’s signature is hidden on the inside tongue tag. Flip the tag and “$24.99” is printed on the underside.
The SB version has subtle differences from a regular AJ1 Low. Longer vamp, resized Swoosh, and extra interior padding for skating comfort. Nike SB Zoom Air sockliner in the heel. White leather base, blue outsole, Wings logo printed on the heel. The $24.99 detail is the kind of personal touch that makes a collab feel real rather than just another colorway. Standard sizing. See it on the replica Jordan 1 page. More at shoe reps.
