Kobe 4 Protro Gold Medal
Beijing 2008, Rebuilt for Paris 2024
Kobe Bryant wore the original Kobe 4 Gold Medal while leading Team USA to the gold during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The Kobe 4 Protro Gold Medal brought back that exact colorway in August 2024, timed perfectly with the Paris Olympics. White synthetic midfoot panels feature exposed Flywire cables and a Dark Obsidian Swoosh outlined in crimson. Metallic gold lands on the toe box and heel counter, both finished in a snakeskin texture.
Bryant’s Olympic number “10” is stamped on the heels alongside his signature on the lateral side. Insoles carry Olympic medal imagery with the date “08.24.08.” A Phylon midsole with a large Zoom Air unit in the heel keeps things light and responsive. Semi-translucent outsole replaces the original’s salmon-colored rubber. Released at $190. Standard fit. See more Olympic-inspired models on the fake basketball shoes page.
