Before the Kobe 6 Mambacita Sweet 16, there was the Kobe 4 Protro Mambacita GIGI. Released in June 2021, this was the shoe that restarted the conversation between the Bryant estate and Nike. White panels and black accents cover the low-profile Kobe 4 silhouette. Pink detailing appears on the tongue, heel, and insole as a nod to Gigi’s favorite color. Her jersey number “2” sits on the heel alongside the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation crest.

“Gigi” is stitched into the inner tongue. The insoles feature angel wings and the Mambacita name. All proceeds from the original release went to the Foundation.
